Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On August 4, 2009, P. H. Glatfelter Company issued an earnings release to report its results of operations for the three months and six months ended June 30, 2009, for which a separate Current Report on Form 8-K was previously furnished. That same day, management held a teleconference to discuss these results. A copy of the transcript from the teleconference is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
