(e) In connection with the hiring of Kevin Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer of Juniper Networks, Inc. (the "Company"), the Company agreed to provide certain relocation benefits to Mr. Johnson to help facilitate sale of his home in the Seattle area and the move of his family to the San Francisco Bay Area, including up to 12 months of Company-paid long-term business housing in Sunnyvale, California. Due to weakness in the real estate market, on November 12, 2009, the Compensation Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors approved a 12 month extension of such Company-paid long-term business housing.
