BANCOLOMBIA S.A. ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER OF THE AUDIT COMMITTEE

Medellín, Colombia, September 29, 2008

At a meeting held today, the Board of Directors of Bancolombia S.A. (“Bancolombia”), appointed Ricardo Sierra Moreno as a new member of Bancolombia’s Audit Committee. Mr. Sierra Moreno has been an independent member of Bancolombia’s Board of Directors since 1996.

Mr. Sierra Moreno will be occupying the position left vacant following the resignation of Mr.Carlos Raúl Yepes from the Audit Committee. Mr.Yepes will continue to be a member of Bancolombia’s Board of Directors.
