Item 8.01 Other Events.
     On June 7, 2010, Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it had further extended its offer to exchange up to $100,000,000 in aggregate principal amount of its 7.875% Senior Notes due 2016 that have been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, for a like principal amount of its outstanding unregistered 7.875% Senior Notes due 2016, to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Friday, June 11, 2010, unless further extended.
     A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
