About the Author
Christy B. is a children’s author and illustrator whose passion for storytelling began in the late 1980s, creating stories for her sons that were shared in their elementary classrooms. Inspired by a family tradition of storytelling, particularly by her father, Hal, and grandfather, she developed a lifelong dedication to nurturing young imaginations.
Her artistic talents were encouraged by her high school art teacher, Mr. Mateer, to whom she dedicated her illustrations. Today, Christy B. continues to craft heartfelt stories that inspire creativity, connection, and a love of reading among children and families.
