WEST CALDWELL, NJ - Little Molars Pediatric Dentistry announced today that Dr. Chirag Patel, board-certified pediatric dentist and practice owner, has been recently appointed to the faculty at Zufall Health Center in West Orange, where he now teaches dental residents one day per week.
The appointment recognizes Dr. Patel's expertise in pediatric dentistry and his commitment to advancing the field through education. In his new role, Dr. Patel shares his specialized knowledge with dental residents, helping shape the future of pediatric dental care in New Jersey while continuing to serve families at his West Caldwell practice.

Dr. Patel brings extensive credentials to his teaching role. He earned his degree in psychology from Rutgers University and completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He furthered his education by completing a General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital, a fellowship in Dental Medicine for the Developmentally Disabled at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, and his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.
The faculty appointment complements Dr. Patel's existing professional memberships, which include the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the College of Diplomats, the New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA), the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and both the Essex County and Middlesex County Dental Societies. His board certification in pediatric dentistry reflects the highest standard of specialized training in treating infants, children, and teens.
Dr. Patel has been working as a pediatric dentist since 2015, bringing nearly a decade of specialized experience to both his clinical practice and teaching role.
