The FDA just banned Red Dye No. 3, yet during a hearing in federal court on Thursday, January 16 in Oakland, the federal agency seeks to dismiss the African American Tobacco Control Leadership Council's (AATCLC) lawsuit demanding the FDA ban menthol from cigarettes that would save Black lives.
