Xcel Energy program offers savings for electric vehicle owners

Minneapolis-based Xcel Energy announced Monday a proposal for a new pilot program that would add appeal to owning an electric car in Minnesota. This proposal is linked with Xcel's Electric Vehicle Rate, which allows electric car owners to save costs on electricity when using it to charge their vehicles.
