WACONIA, Minn. - Aug. 23, 2018 - PRLog -- The Winery at Sovereign Estate will hold it's 6th Annual Grape Jam and Stomp music, wine and food festival on September 7-9, 2018. The event is held at the award-winning vineyard overlooking Lake Waconia which is about 30 miles west of Minneapolis, MN. This unique event allows teams to compete in grape stomping contests while enjoying award-winning wine, craft beer, and barbecue food and souvenir wine glasses for attendees. The weekend will feature great local and national music performers. The event runs from 11 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday and 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday. This event has drawn thousands of visitors in the past and the vineyard expects record crowds to attend in 2018. On Friday night, The 6 Outlaws will take the stage at the Marquette Pavilion with a tribute to Johnny Cash. On Saturday, Jane Plank will perform from noon to 4pm on the patio and Kevin Chalfant's Journey Experience will perform from 6-8pm in the Marquette Pavillion. Chalfant was the first lead singer to stand in for Steve Perry and perform with Journey live. Tickets are available on Eventbrite for teams to participate in the grape stomp contest. Eventbrite is also the source for tickets to the concerts featuring The 6 Outlaws and Kevin Chalfant's Journey Experience. General Admission will also be available at the door for the concerts.
