It Is Morning talks about the love between characters Andy and Lorrie, with author Vernon Bargainer placing excellent twists and turns and investing in impressive character development that makes it an engaging read.

Author Vernon Bargainer brings another wonderfully written and emotionally engaging novel, “It Is Morning,” a remarkable story of persistence, love, friendship, and forgiveness.

The story revolves around Andy Boone, who, twenty years ago, shared an absorbing and unforgettable experience with his fifth-grade sweetheart. Now, laden with sadness and guilt, he searched in vain for the young woman and her family.

The search began when he crashed his car into a prairie fence in East Texas one rainy April morning in 1992. Little does he know that this chance blunder is destined to have repercussions far beyond the deep scratches on the rear of his car. Inexplicably, he will be drawn back to this spot again and again.

Andy Boone’s search is complicated by the seeming anonymity of the woman he seeks. It is also burdened by distractions arising from his career and his entanglement with the FBI. They regard him as suspect because he’s snooping around neighborhoods asking questions. Still, he pushes on, but he is growing weary and afraid.

Just the plain mystery of it all – the inexplicable absence of even the tiniest clue as to her whereabouts – threatens to strangle his dedication. Even more crippling is the beating he takes from his internal confusion: guilt, sad memories, and difficult questions. Now, a frightening picture is emerging – something unthinkable has happened to the family he seeks.

Joanna A., one of It Is Morning’s first readers, stated in a review, “I couldn’t put this book down. It is a quick and wonderful read. The author’s descriptions about the wonderful family he encounters made me want to be a part of his journey.”

Vernon Bargainer holds a degree in psychology from the University of Texas and has worked for thirty-five years in human relations. He has six children and five grandchildren.

Now retired, Vernon Bargainer lives near his family in Mesquite, Texas. Vernon Bargainer says, of himself, that he is a lifelong student of human relations, and his qualifications arise from 80 years of making life work. He authored At The Feet of Angels, From a Distance, It Is Morning, and I Remember Running.

Those who want to grab a copy of “It Is Morning” can purchase it on Amazon and Book Depository. His impressive novel, “It Is Morning,” serves as an excellent gift for young and adult book lovers on any occasion.
