Germany backs lockdown restrictions for the unvaccinated

Unvaccinated people across Germany will soon be excluded from nonessential stores, restaurants, and sports and cultural venues, Chancellor Angela Merkel announced on Thursday. Parliament also said it will consider a general vaccine mandate.
