Opera Philadelphia names Derrell Acon as vice president of people operations and inclusion

The newly created position at the nonprofit grew out of an equity and inclusion team that formed in 2020, and the role is meant to advance Opera Philadelphia's diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
