Michael’s recent role as Clark Pelletier in the highly anticipated film “Grow Up” has made him an up-and-coming acting talent to watch out for. Michael shares with us how he began his acting career.
“I began my acting career by enrolling in improvisational courses at Bacone College. My theater instructor at the time urged me to pursue more opportunities in acting, and this inspired me to start modeling and take up theater performance classes,” explains Michael.
In 2018, Michael was featured as an equestrian rider overlooking an arena in Vida Magazine Tx. He has also been credited for appearing in fashion shows hosted by San Antonio Shoemakers Company as well as modeling for apparel brands like Grey Moon Vintage and Montage Clothing.
In 2019, Michael was cast as the lead in the coming-of-age film, “Grow Up”.
“Grow up gave me the opportunity to prove that I can do any genre. We all know someone like Clark Pelletier, the central character that I play in the movie, who just needs to ‘grow up’ but who isn’t quite ready or willing to do so. And it was up to me to portray his transition from a somewhat self-involved ‘good time guy’ to someone who considers the needs of others too. Naturally, as with most compelling stories, the reason for Clark’s transformation is a healthy dose of comedy. What’s not to love?”
In the summer of 2020, Michael was cast as the co-lead, Derek, in the series “Nightmares and Screams”, in the episode titled “The Drifter”. Following his co-lead role, he also played a cowboy and sniper in the film “The Harder They Fall”, starring Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors.
Michael’s latest role sees him playing Jake in the drama, “A Dark Destiny”, which is currently in production and set for release later this year. Jake is an altogether different character from Clark, but Michael is certainly proving that he’s up for the challenge and then some.
“I see myself first and foremost as an artist, one who is dedicated to expanding my acting career with each new role,” concludes Michael.
